Armira, a Munich-based investment holding focused on partnerships with entrepreneur-led and family-owned businesses, has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Viabus, a Dutch group tour operator specialised in senior and young-senior travellers.

Viabus is known for its strong brand portfolio, including Bolderman, Effeweg, Destimundo, Diogenes Group & Incentive Travel, and Van Nood Reizen. The company offers a wide range of travel formatsโ€”from guided coach tours and fly-coach trips to river cruises, winter stays, self-drive holidays and tailor-made group experiences.

Armiraโ€™s investment supports Viabusโ€™ long-term growth strategy, including digital transformation, professionalisation, and selective international expansion. Founder Teus Bolderman, together with co-shareholder Rotrip Europe, will reinvest and remain actively involved, ensuring continuity and sector expertise. The management team, led by Teus Bolderman (CEO), Onno Hosman (CCO), and Jorrit Boelhouwer (CFO), will continue to run the business.

The transaction is expected to close in Q1 2026, pending customary regulatory approvals.
