Story:
CBRE Investment Management has completed the purchase of the convenience part of the Buitenmere shopping centre in Almere Buiten. The land register shows the purchase price at € 33.95 million. Investors bought this part of Plaza Rio de Janeiro shopping mall in an over-the-counter deal at Dreef Beheer for PME Pensioenfonds' convenience retail portfolio.
For the mandate the portfolio, CBRE IM is looking for sustainable supermarkets and convenience centers in the best locations in the Netherlands, which are very popular. They are therefore very pleased that they have been able to realise this nice addition to the pension fund's portfolio with this off-market transaction. The convenience section of Buitenmere shopping centre is entirely dedicated to everyday shopping and convenience, with two supermarkets (Albert Heijn and Lidl), a variety of everyday shops - such as bakeries, greengrocers and butchers - and 12 apartments above the shops .
