MP Solar, a Dutch photovoltaic group owned by Abn Amro sustainable impact fund Pe, has been acquired by Italian energy group ERG [BIT:ERG]. According to Erg's press release, EBITDA for 2021 was 16.6 million euros, and the transaction value in enterprise value was 128 million euros.
The buy of 100% of MP Solar was made via ERG Power Generation.
MP Solar owns eight solar power plants in Puglia, Molise Lazio and Sardinia
Erg has engaged UniCredit as financial advisor, Bird & Bird as legal advisor, EY as auditor and tax advisor, and DNV-GL as technical advisor.
