Bliston Packaging acquires Meulendijks Packaging

Story:
The acquisition is an important step in Bliston's buy-and-build growth strategy. Bliston completed the acquisition with the support of Amsterdam-based investor NewPort Capital, which acquired a majority stake earlier last year. This step strengthens the position of Meulendijks and Bliston in the packaging industry and is a realization of the growth ambitions of both companies. Together, the two companies now supply over 650 million packaging materials to customers in the Netherlands and abroad each year, produced from the most sustainable and recyclable raw materials. Bliston achieved an annual turnover of €25 million last year and within five years, the turnover should double to approximately €50 million. Meulendijks has dozens of employees and has a turnover of between €10 million and €15 million.
