GARBE Industrial Real Estate and Union Investment have acquired a 39,300 m² turnkey logistics project in Pernis, Rotterdam for €85 million in an off-market forward commitment transaction from Dudok Real Estate. The property was acquired for the "UII Garbe Logistik Fonds" vehicle jointly launched by United Investments and GARBE Industrial Properties in 2020. Dudok Real Estate's real estate portfolio has a strong logistical emphasis, focusing on the strategic expansion and development of large properties in promising locations suitable for road, water and air transport.

According to Garbe Industrial Real Estate Netherlands, the acquisition is an important step in its rapid growth strategy offering a comprehensive package of services in key logistics hubs around the country.
