The companies announced that Amsterdam-based Dutch investment firm Parcom has acquired a majority stake in Quoratio Group, which has offices in Amsterdam and Copenhagen, from investment firm Foreman Capital.
Founded in 2000, Quoratio provides secondment and consulting services for administrative processes. The company employs 750 people and works with about 200 self-employed professionals. Foreman Capital has held a majority stake in the company since 2016.
According to Dutch daily Het Financieele Dagblad, in 2020 Quoratio had a turnover of 47.3 million euros and a profit of 2.3 million euros. The company has grown strongly in recent years, in part through acquisitions, and intends to continue this strategy under Parcom's leadership. Previously, Quoratio acquired Verhoeve, a Utrecht-based financial secondment company with more than 100 professionals.
Jochem Kentgens, CEO of the Quoratio Group: “All interested parties indicated that they were impressed by our corporate culture and unique character, whereby we also recruit people who do not necessarily have a diploma. In our choice for a new partner, we found it very important that this should be preserved. We want to continue to grow together with our colleagues and to maintain what we are already doing well, but with opportunities to realize our ambitions and plans. Parcom supports this wish, has the necessary experience in secondment in niche areas and has guided many companies in its portfolio in further growth. I am very grateful to Foreman Capital for their support over the years and am delighted that Dick Groen - founder of Quoratio - will continue to be involved as a minority shareholder and advisor.”
Marco van Vliet, Parcom: “We are impressed by the position that the Quoratio Group has built up in recent years. We also see a strong management team, with ambition and a keen eye for the sector. We look forward to expanding Quoratio's services in partnership with the team and are confident in a bright future for the company.”
Maxime Rosset, Foreman Capital: “It was a privilege to work with the Quoratio Group, its management and Dick Groen. Both through organic growth and through acquisitions, we have jointly built the company into a success story, with a strong position in several disciplines. We are happy to give the Quoratio Group a further and new future at Parcom.”
