VideoVisit, a Finnish company specializing in virtual healthcare and online consultations, and backed by Main Capital Partners, has recently acquired Applikator, a welfare technology solutions provider based in Denmark.

Established in 2013, Applikator offers telehealth solutions that are currently utilized by 49 municipalities in Denmark and 18 municipalities in Norway.

On the other hand, VideoVisit was founded in 2010 and has gained significant recognition in the industry. They facilitate over 1.5 million virtual care visits each year and boast a workforce of approximately 40 employees. Their innovative solutions have contributed to annual savings exceeding EUR 50 million for care operators.

Through the acquisition of Applikator, Main Capital Partners aims to reinforce the company's impressive growth trajectory and expand its offerings to customers. This strategic move will support Applikator in providing an even broader range of services to meet the evolving needs of its clientele.
