Main Capital Partners has acquired a majority stake in 21south, a Dutch provider of cloud-based ERP software for the waste management and environmental services sector.
Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Barendrecht, 21south develops and maintains 21QUBZ, an integrated ERP platform supporting essential operational and administrative processes, including waste collection, route planning, container management, invoicing and regulatory reporting. Its solutions support more than 2.8 million households across the Netherlands.
The partnership will focus on accelerating product innovation, expanding internationally and strengthening 21south's position in the waste management software market. Selective strategic acquisitions may also support the company's future growth.
With Main Capital Partners' backing, 21south aims to further develop its software offering while maintaining its sector-specific expertise and close customer relationships.
