Scan Global Logistics acquires Foppiani Shipping & Logistics

Copenhagen, 4 June 2024 – Scan Global Logistics (SGL) continues its impressive growth journey with the successful acquisition of Foppiani Shipping & Logistics, an independent Italian freight forwarder headquartered in Prato. This strategic acquisition marks SGL’s first entry into the Italian market, the world’s eighth-largest economy and the third-largest within the European Union.

Founded in 2007, Foppiani Shipping & Logistics is a well-established freight forwarder specializing in air and ocean freight services for fashion and retail, automotive, and other sectors. With more than 160 employees, the company generates an annual revenue of EUR 115 million and operates multiple locations across Italy, as well as subsidiaries in Asia and the United States.
