Story:
Tover, best known for its healthcare product Tovertafel, has joined forces with private equity fund Karmijn Kapitaal for international expansion. The company sees mainly opportunities in the U.S., where it showed off its products to the public during CES in early January. Tover was founded by Hester Le Riche in 2015 to improve the quality of life for people with cognitive impairments such as dementia. The company sees increasing demand for the innovative Tovertafel product that will positively impact residents, customers and medical staff.
Backed by private equity investor Karmijn Kapitaal, Tover aims to address growing healthcare demand by further expanding into new markets. The external investment helps Tover to identify and solve challenges in the global healthcare space. Over the next few years, Tover hopes to take the same position in the U.S. and Canada as it does in Europe. Their mission is to welcome a million players within five years. To achieve this, the international team will be expanded from 40 to 100 people.
