Roxbi Capital has acquired Twickenham Plating Group (TPG), a UK-based provider of specialist technical plating services, from owners David Hill and Jonathan Hill.

Founded in 1947 and headquartered in Twickenham, Middlesex, with operations in Poole, Dorset, TPG provides specialist plating services for mission-critical components across the electronics, telecommunications, aerospace, defence and automotive industries.

The sellers sought a long-term partner capable of preserving TPG's nearly 80-year legacy while supporting its continued growth. Roxbi Capital was selected for its owner-operator model and its founder's experience in engineering and manufacturing.

The sale process, led by Marktlink UK, attracted acquisition proposals from nine countries. Following the transaction, David Hill and Jonathan Hill will exit the business, while the wider TPG team will remain in place.
