Rokstone Underwriting, part of Aventum Group, has acquired Post & Co, marking Aventum’s first MGA acquisition and its strategic entry into Continental Europe.
Founded in 1918, Post & Co is one of Continental Europe’s most established marine underwriting businesses, operating from Rotterdam, Groningen, Antwerp and Frankfurt. The company provides specialist marine insurance solutions across P&I, cargo, logistics, war risk and liability lines through a network of approximately 250 brokers across Europe and Asia.
The acquisition strengthens Rokstone’s global marine proposition and provides Aventum with an immediate operational footprint in Continental Europe. Post & Co will continue to operate with its existing leadership team and organisational structure as part of Rokstone Underwriting.
The transaction reflects Aventum’s broader strategy of expanding its specialty insurance platform through selective, capability-led acquisitions with strong cultural alignment.
