DKV Mobility has acquired MKB Brandstof, strengthening its position in the Benelux mobility market and adding approximately 55,000 SME customers in the Netherlands.
Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Rotterdam, MKB Brandstof has evolved from a fuel card provider into a broader mobility platform offering fuel cards, EV charging solutions and mobility management services for SMEs. The company currently serves customers through approximately 115,000 fleet and charging cards, providing access to around 76,000 fuel stations and more than one million charging points across Europe.
The acquisition follows DKV Mobility’s broader Benelux expansion strategy after its earlier acquisition of Optimile in Belgium. Through the transaction, MKB Brandstof gains access to DKV Mobility’s international network, technology capabilities and e-mobility expertise, while continuing to operate under its existing brand and identity.
The combination is expected to accelerate product development and support customers in the transition towards electric mobility and integrated fleet management solutions.
